Post t5 installation

i was reading the t5 installation pages in the technical area and decided i wanted to give it a try.. so i picked one up, and it said in the http://www.monte-list.nu/tech/fivespeed.shtml page that the 700r4 and the t5 are the same length and could use the same driveshaft, but my question is that im going to be running true duals and wanted to get one of those from crossmembers.com or gforce whatever and the page said a 2004r crossmember needs to be slid ahead one bolt hole so a new front hole will need to be made, but would another crossmember from him be a closer fit and more of a bolt in to ease the installation? is this all right and does anybody have any tips?
