T5 trans shaft coated with Grease, good or bad?
I pulled the old T5 out this morning and I'm about to put in the new one, but I had a question. The way I'm putting it, the guy had the shaft heavily coated with a pink grease. I know that's not much of an description, but is that some specific grease that needs to be on th shaft, or can I clean it off. I know there needs to be some grease on the shaft, I'm just not sure if it has to be this pink stuff. Just wanted to make sure before I wiped it off, because all i have is regular grease here.

Probably just Trans assembly lube to prevent rust, comes in Red, Blue, Green. The splines need a little lube.
