T5 wiring harness

Has anyone installed a T5 trans. Into an early F1 (52) and can tell me how to wire the two harnesses? I assume the harness with the two wires (green and blue) is the back-up or maybe the neutral switch but how do I wire the two twisted wires in the second harness. Is this for an electric speedometer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I assume you are referring to a t5 manual transmission ?

If so there should only be 2 electrical items on that trans the backup light switch in on the top cover or main case side , the speed sensor is on the driver side rear tail section of trans
