t56 clutch fork problem

Well im trying to get my clutch fork to install onto my throwout bearing, but when i push the fork in it keeps going behind the throwout bearing, ive tried everything to get it to go onto the bearing but it just keeps going behind it..Is there a trick to get it to stay straight and go onto the bearing or is it just that much of a pita? do you have to have the t.o.b in a certain place for the fork to slide onto it?

thanx
