T56 flywheel balance questions

I am trying to mate a 93-97 style t56 to an internally balanced 1 piece rms 350. Now from what I understand the lt1 is an externally balaced motor but I've been told that I can use an lt1 flywheel with the t56 on my motor, but the internally vs externally balanced flywheels had never came into question.

So am I over thinking this or can I only use a neutral/internally balanced flywheel with my internally balanced motor, or can I simply use a flywheel for an lt1?
Any help would be great, the motor has an Eagle rotating assembly which was internally ballanced.
