tach wiring

Hi ,
I'm tom. thanks in advance for any information. Trying to wire a "auto meter" tach, that has a blue{14ga.}, a black wity green stripe {16ga.}, and a black {18ga.}. Installing on a 86 Chev 3+3, 5.7 liter. What goes where?
Also what about installing a mallory promaster coil ,part no. 28720?
Thanks

Tom, you need to be more specific. Autometer made a lot of tachs including some with Memory, line lock inputs, etc.

What model?
