Tachometer

Hi I would like to add a tach to my truck 84 Dodge D150 318 2bbl.
Anybody know how to wire in a tach on a Dodge only have experience with gm just plug it in.

tach signal comes from - side of the coil, just follow basic tach instructions, there correct for yer truck. theyll come with the tach.

thats cool easy install then.
Whats a good tach to go with, nothing fancy up to 6000 rpm?

Auto Meter, sun pro, any will be accurate enough for what u want. don't need to spend much more than $50 unless u want a 5" tach. 3/3/4" I think is decent size myself, they cost around $45 with a gauge pod.
