Tachometer wiring question- HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Hey. I just bought an autometer tach, and was wondering if i hooked it up to a hot wire that is not switched on by the ignition, that runs directly from the positive terminal, will it drain the battery, even though it isn't doing anything? if not, where in the fuse box would i wire it to, so it doesn't drain and only turns on when the car is running? thanks!

Get a test light (12volts) with the key off check all fuses to see which ons have power, mark them with tape or write them down then start the engine and make your checks again and mark the ones that were not hot before, you have now found the ones that are hot when the engine is running. Try to pick one to use that has the higher amp rating.
