tail pipe expansion 2.25 to 2.5

hey i was wondering if going froma 2.25 in tip to a 2.5 inch exhaust is bad? i like my tips and am leaning towards expansion. at this level will the restriction be noticeable? my 350 will make 350hp . 1hp/per cubic inch.

does anybodyknow anyone who sells 2.5 inch smokey and the bandit TA tips?

do a search on this subject as there is a thread from hell, about 5 plus pages on this. we came up with the fact it's better to keep the diameter smaller after the mufflers because of the cooling the mufflers have. going to smaller diameter pipe keeps the speed of the gases up, so i would leave yours alone. but we also decided, i recall, that you probably wouldn't notice it no matter what you did on mild (under 400hp) engines. i think my SS 350 camaro had 2 inch pipes out the back. i dont know, it's been over 3 months since i've seen it. (i'm not in jail, it is)
