I run the same taillight that you do and they should take the 1157 bulbs. The housing ground to the body, assuming that the body is steel, then one of the wires is for running or taillights and the other is for brake/turn signals. The painless harness should have a separate wire for each. Just a couple of suggestions, if the inside of the housings are black, paint them white it makes for a brighter light, and use the 2257 bulb it interchanges with the 1157 and gives a brighter light also.
