Tailpipe Angle vs Interior Resonance

I was thinking today, does the angle of the tailpipe (or exhaust tip) outlet have an effect on interior resonance/drone? I'm not sure if I want the exhaust on my Jeep to exit
straight out-
angled down w/straight cut (about 45')
straight down (the 45' turndown with a slash/baloney cut, rather than straight across)

I think typically the more the exhaust is aimed at the ground the more resonance you would get. The noise bounces off the pavement more.

And of course exhaust exiting under the car with turndowns is about the loudest (interior resonance) of all. But it does sound good that way.

I doubt you'd notice much difference except with the turned end pipe if pointed to the ground would stir up a lot of of dust and dirt rolling across a parking lot or dirt road or field.
