Taking out bags installing springs?

i have a 66 impala with bags in the back, i want to take them out and install springs. over all i want to drop it 2-3 in. and would like to make it west coast style, but not a G ride. does anyone have suggestions on companies or ways of starting on this? thank you D

NAPA has a coil spring catalog. Look up the spring for your car, then find one w/the lb/in rate a little higher & the ht you want.

A second option is to cut the top off your upper spring top & cut a round spacer ring the same diameter & Weld it in.
