I have the June 2009 issue of Rod and Custom which has an article: Throttle body injection on a budget. It sounds good and seems to be relatively easy to install. The article never mentions anything about the budget, when someone mentions budget the first thing that pops into my mind is inexpensive. Although this particular story involves installing a Howell TBI on a V8, I am interested in one for a 250 six. Anyone have any anecdotes concerning the performance of this system for a car weighing about +- 3500 lbs.

Well, a few seconds on Google leads you to the Howell website, where you find that a V6 kit without distributor control is a "budget" $1300. I assume that a kit for the 4.3 liter V6 will also work on a 4.2 liter I6.
