TBI Limits on Performance

Greetings to the experienced. My question is this: How much can you modify an engine when using a Throttle Body Injection (TBI) with a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensored ECM?

Anyone changed cams and compression and NOT had to reprogram the prom?

Can the prom be reprogrammed to account for the increased cam size and compression?

Thanks for all your help.

I just built a 350 TBI for a 1992 Chevy 4X4 truck. Installed a 94 Camaro LT1 camshaft, 97 5.7 vortec heads, GM Performance parts TBI intake for vortec heads and egr, had the tbi bored out to 50mm and installed a walbro fuel pump and special spring in the fuel regulator for 17psi to the injectors. Brian at tbi chips made me a special chip, is excellent to work with. It runs very well. Major increase over stock about 100 hp it idles just like stock you would never know whats under the hood.

If you are thinking about doing something like this contact Brian and he can help you also visit his web site at www.tbichips.com He has lots of info there.
