tbi problems

just took ownership of 55 pu with 95 tbi motor and 700r trans. heres what i did
replaced elec pump no prob...then had great idea!! cut in a secret switch
so as to have a littel peace o mind. cut and spliced power wire from pump
relay to pump.now i have no power going to relay at all!! opps! put the wire back but still nada..might have grounded it or somthing worse..ant ideas on what might have broke? all fuses good and it has painless wiring for motor and truck has newer fuse box and wiring thanx...

pull the relay and reinstall it, it may be stuck open. your switch may also be grounding it out, look where you pass the wire through the firewall and make sure you haven't rubbed the insulation off of the wire.
