If you want a quarter mile time, then the higher the number of the first gear, the faster you will go through it. Therefor quicker 1/4 mile times. For the stall speed you will need two different converters, one for the 350 and one for the 454. To determine what stall would be good for your car you need to know what the powerband of each engine is and where the peak power is at. The cam and the converter go hand in hand. Longer the duration on the cam, Higher stall speed. (I said that right, right? (4:30am, sounds good now)) Tell us where the power is on each motor so you can get a good recomendation on a stall speed. Personally, I've never been a fan of TCI products, but I know alot of others that have the exact oppisite opinion.
