temp control display
I have a 1999 vette that I need to find out why the temp control light is dim. I can see it @ night but during the day is is not readable. The h/a works and the dimmer switch that controls the other lights does not effect this problem
What can it be? Thanks in advance....

Doc here,
 The Cds Cell for that display may be defective for Auto Dimming.. A quick and easy test, in a dark place , get a pen light with a narrow beam, and shine it around the corners of the individual display..It SHOULD get brighter when you light up the Cds cell and darker when you move the light away.. If this is not happening, you need a new display..or you could wait if you can live with it until it goes all the way out..your choice there.. Doc
