Temp Sending Unit?
On my '70 Chevelle 350 I have a temp sending unit with one wire round prong on the driver's side towards the front of the head. But there's another sending unit on the passenger side head with two wire blade prong on it. Is that also a temp sending unit? If so, why two senders and different connectors?

It sounds like someone changed the heads. The only sending unit in the heads was the temperature. I would use the one the fits your needs. The other can be left or removed and plugged.

That's what I thought it was. The new crate engine has a plug in that head so I won't reinstall this sender. I'll cut the wire off. Thanks
