I was in Nocogdous?(spelling) now in Marshall.
Have two appointments in Dallas Friday.
If your in Marshall, I'm buying!
This is a crammed trip but next time will take you up on it.

Got the farm road down, missed a turn today while on phone and GPS got me back on track going about 7 miles on back roads.
I saw cows bigger than my rover!! Oh saw a clydesdale, that was neat!

its a nice drive through Texas, plenty of stuff to look at, except driving down 78 (or is it 77?) towards South Padre... a whole lot of nothing for miles....

i'm not even sure where Marshall is... i know i've been there, but hell i've been everywhere.
whats it closest too as far as major citys?

oh thats east texas.. only about 143 miles from me.

Just over border, the guy I'm meeting here said it will take two hours to get to Dallas.

If either one of these deals pop in Dallas, I will be back for a week in Dallas and nights will be free.

Dang Barry, your not to far from where I went to College, Louisianan Tech in Ruston, LA.. I used to fly in that area when taking lessons. From Shreveport, LA. Dallas is about 2.5 hrs, so 2 hrs sounds bout right.

Texas is Great. If you come to San Antonio for a few days, we can hook up and tour this great historic city. I love it here.

BTW, FM is a farm to market rd. FR usually means frontage road but if it was far removed as you said I don't know. Frontage roads are the same as access roads alongside the interstate or other major road. I hope this clears the muddy water syndrome.

FM means farm to market. I love the backroads and take them a lot when I am not in a hurry. Sounds like you were in my neck of the woods. I am kindof halfway between S.port and Dallas on I-20.

I bet you are thinking about PR.....Private Road. I live on one.

I am in Dallas Next Friday as well. Meeting all day so I am tied up. If you get back and anyone gets together, let me know. I could be in the area.

i've only been to Fort Worth twice in my life that i can remember, and that was over 3 years ago.
we went to some place either called "The Rusty Armadillo" or "The Drunk Armadillo".... something like that... and the only reason we went was for the underage drinking

the only place i go to drink now is "Clicks Billiards" at Kingsley and 635 in Garland. just a fun place to go and have a beer or 10, play a few games of pool and look at the sweet *** walking around.

if you are ever that way, you should check it out
