I voted for Kinky Friedman but Rick done himself proud on this one - - - - the Legislators probably had more to do with getting it passed than Rickie but "who cares"

the short of it.... get involved !!!!!!!!

taging a bucket in my state was a major pain... when u brought a st rod in dmv they went nuts.. alot of people i knew had problems and headacks every 2 yrs... so i started the ball and contacted a st rep that was on "sema's" list. got a group and went to dmv and talked to the top dmv dog and got it changed... not exactly what i wanted but very close.. took 2 months and 4 meeting... just try it u never can tell what will happen.. take the 'sema' titling info with u and go from there. I was one of those that would ***** and sit on the side lines too... i may not be easy in your state but someone's got to start something.. why not u ?????????????????????????????

knew this was coming a long time ago. most counties stopped the title search thing a while back and went to bonded titles. they also put a stop to mechanic's leans too. you can still do it but it is not as easy as before and there are a bunch of new rules. the biggest problem was people selling titles from states where it is easy to just get one. then when you try to title it here the dmv jumps up your butt with a microscope. i did a bonded title on my 54 truck. no inspection or hassles. just make sure you state it is complete.
