Well I have a long tail t350, that as I was mounting my original shift linkage from a 91 3.1 camaro and doing so I managed to break the bolt holes that hold the linkage to the transmission. In the pic is where my holes were.
Has anyone done this before and found a remedy for it, or is it pretty well toast?
Unfortunately broke. The only part that left to it is the bottom half. Is it possible to mold jb weld into its own shape, like the top rounded half, then tap into there? Or would it even hold up very well.
Yes, you can mold with it. It will take longer to dry when it's thick. Just make sure you get the mating surfaces very clean, oil free.
Or have someone build it up with a Tig welder, file flat, drill/tap.
