TH 350 leak

I cannot get my dipstick tube to quit leaking. I have tried the o ring type and grommet type stick and lots of silicone on both. It still leaks. What do you suggest??? Anyone???

Dipstick tubes are pressed in with an o-ring at the bottom. Never had one leak on me. Is the transmission overfilled?

I have had them leak before, they press in and then most have a bracket that bolt to through the bell housing to the block. JMO
