th-350 no go
I bought a 78 k-10 today($500) and the tranny has problems. After putting three and a half quarts of fluid it still is not working. It will mildly engage into rev, but will not move the truck. The only other gear it will engage in is low but still will not move the truck. Anyone have any thoughts on what to check first (modulator ect) or should i just pull it and rebuild it? thanks

pull the pan, check fluid for burned smell,color,residue, check the filter for blockage, sounds like plugged filter or toasted trans.

If the fluid level is right, it is likely that the trans is done.
