cucumber I have removed the cable from the trans and tried moving it manually, but no success. With the cable off I had it go into drive once, but then it went right back to the way it was. So I pretty sure that it is internal.
Does some one have a good diagram for a th 350? I would like to look at one before i jump into the unknown.
On another note about what might have caused this problem when i was broke in the parking lot I started it up and had a friend look to see if my drive shaft was spinning while in gear. Then me the dumb dumb pushed it into park causing some grinding noises before I pulled it back to a reverse or drive position and shutting down. Could the grinding of the park pin be connected to the problem?? I guess a good diagram and I should be able to tell.
