the book i bought says that after i install the input ring gear it should give more resistence when rotating in a ccw direction the in cw direction. Mine has the same amount of resistence in both directions. Can anyone help me out with this or should i not worry about it? thanks for any help ben

B/W,
what happens is the roller clutch holds in one direction as you spin the output shaft, the other direction the roller clutch over-runs. As the roller clutch holds you will be spinning a drum in the oppisite direction. this is where the additional resistance comes from. If the frictions are dry(no oil yet) the resistance will feel nearly the same in both directions.
