th 700r trans

by mistake i let my trans run low on fuild. by the time i realize it and added fuild it would only shift out of first when i gave it alot gas. Does this mean the pump is gone. The trans was rebuild a year. Or does this the trans needs to be rebuild.

it could be the tv valve i had the same prob with mine it would only shift at 3500 rpms and i took the vavle body off and unstuck the vavle and it fixed it and it stuck agine and after the 3 or so times of takeing if off anf putting fresh fluid in bc the old fluid had a bunch of trash in it but i never ran mine low on fluid and i rebuildt the trans my self so that could be the prob with yours or i could be somtin els but it could be unstuck by un doing the tv cable at the carb or tbi witch ever one you are running and start the truck/car and leave it in park and snap the cable in and out fast a few times and that may fix it.hope this helps
