What's up guys. I have a th350 transmission that has been rebuild with a B&M shift kit. I have the transmission behind a small block 350 that has been worked. My transmission has begin to slip an I'm out of suggestions on how to fix it. I have check the atf and I have also replaced the vacuum modulator but it still wants to slip. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

yep yep with a new transmission or a freshly rebuilt one you are suppose to change the fluid and filter after the first 500 miles, ask me how i know lol, if you have just driven it normal you may be able to prevent a head ache, change the fluid and the filter cut the filter open and look for any debris that would indicate internal damage, also take notice of any smells of burnt fluid, i know tranny fluid stinks to begin with but if it comes out a brownish or black color then you "toasted" the transmission, if not a simple fluid change and filter should rectify your problems , hope that helps

If it's slipping the fluid will be burnt. If It was my car I'd pull the trans now, before it get's worse & leaves you sitting somewhere.

Thanks guys for the help and I plan to pull the transmission out the weekend and try to diagnose the problem. If its too much to fix or too much of a hassel I'll probably save up to purchase another one. Another question. What gear set up should I use for my rearend?
