I got a 86 regal/grand national with a 300 horse small block 350 in it. Just want to know what would be a better go, the TH350 or the 2spd powerglide.

It depends on what you are going to do and how much you want to spend.

The Th 350 is the likely choice due to the ease of installation and not to much needed to make it dependable. If you choose the PowerGlide you will need to spend quite a lot more on installation and making it strong, but once done right it will be a good change.

But if it were me I would lean to the 350 as it will work better all around , 3 sppeds better on the road, 2 speeds better on the track.

I have a 2 sp powerglide in my Chevelle, and to answer your question, I'll trade my Powerglide anyday for a T350. It is very strong, but the jump from first to second gear makes it all but useless on the street. First gear is 0-40, shifting around 4500, then it hits second gear and drops to litterally 1500 RPMs and lags like a joke. Go with the T350.
