Post TH350

I've got a 67 Nova with a .030 over 283 a TH350 and a 9''ford rear. My problem is that the car has decided to stop moving at full speed. The engine revs fine but I get a heavy vibration in Park and it will only move at aboput 5-MPH max.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this one problem? Converter or pump?

Cool

You of course checked the fluid level. The filter might need changed. If you were to add something to unclog/clean the internal parts of the trans before changing the fliter it might help.I have had th350's loose third but never 2nd and third.

Start with the basic stuff. When was the last time the fluid was changed? For what it's worth has the tranny been rebuilt? When you put the car in gear does it make a bunch of noise? It be a couple of things. filter full of trash. stator broke (the noise). To much clearance in the forward clutch pack. When you drop the pan look in it see if there is friction material in it.
