TH350 blown or not
I am getting ready to do some drag racing with my son in Prostock.
73 nova SBC th 350. Son was out last nite and punched it at 35 mph and slapped 2nd . Trans gave out, now it just makes a sound like a noisey gear drive. and does not move the car. Trans is fresh rebuild but out of any warranty. Pan is clean just one very small piece of metal Thoughts or input apreciated. Racing starts this sat.

if the trans is pumping, the problem is in the trans, if no pressure, then id say converter stripped, or the input shaft.
