th350 check fluid

hello
i have a TH350 transmission on my nova
on the dip stick i don't see some check level for hot and cold
on the dip stick i can read " transmission fluid "
the dip stick end look like snake tongue
how can i check my fluid ?

the engine cold i have some fluid on it
when i start the engine i don't see some fluid on it

Sounds like you do need some fluid. Post a pic of the dipstick.
so we can see what you have going on.
