TH350 fluid flow in cooler

Question on the TH350 cooler lines. Does ALL the fluid go through the cooler and lines or just some of it? Thanks.

After a couple cooling line mishaps in the past I would have to say all of it, and rather quickly too.

Mistakes are for learning purposes.

No , all fluid is not routed through the converter.

The main line pressure is fed to the valve body and routed through the pump body to the coverter .

Cooler line with pressure OUT from the tranny comes directly out of the converter then to the cooler.

Cooler line pressure depending on the set-up can run 40 - 60 psi on the high side and flow 1.5 to 2.0 quarts per minute
Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.
