TH350 Front Pump Question

Hi All,
This is my first time posting here, because I have a question on installing a TH350 front pump. I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for.

I picked up this trans that had already been disassembled. I have it all reassembled but don't know if there is a certain position the front pump needs to be in. It wasn't marked before taken out. Do the holes only line up in a certain position? Or does it matter?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure it's keyed to fit only one way...

The pump can go in only one way for the bolt holes to all align correctly. Below are some links showing the pump, how to inspect it, how it's aligned/centered and how to use dowels made from bolts w/their heads cut off to help install the pump.

The pump has both a gasket under it and an O-ring around the outside of it to seal it to the case- both need to be in place.

Thanks guys, once I looked at it closer I saw how a couple holes are offset to align it only one way but still appreciate the responses.
