Odd that the solenoid wiring would be reattached and everything left as though the TCC was working. The reason for my curiosity is because I have a TH350C in my '80 Malibu wagon. Original tranny never been out of the car, has only had filter and fluid changes.

Because it has well north of 250K miles on it, I figure it is bound to need a rebuild eventually and the idea of switching it to a non lockup has been considered so the TC availability would be better, but generally speaking I like the lock up. Anyway, thanks for the input.

So you have a picture of the hole? i dont want to drill in the wrong spot

I Got this trans off a friend, he said it worked perfect, he said the shifts were normal like any stock trans, no neck snapper for sure.

It also has the Unibell Case/Housing, fits Chevy & BOPC. These are getting very hard to find now.

I can't remember for sure but, I think a passage/port behind the Pump is blocked which cancels the need for the Valvebody Mod. TCC feed possibly.

there was a hole to be drilled in the stator support so the oil behind the converter hub seal would drain out... otherwise the seal could blow out from pressure build up
