th350 int clutch height to low?

Getting near the end here. When I stack the intermediate clutch plates followed by wavy washer thats all well and good. Prob is I depth mic from front pump sitting surface down to high point on wavy washer and get about .200 inches less than the flange to contact point on pump. Not cool right? What I'm yaying is there'll be .280 inches of room between wavy washer on top of plates to where its supposed to contact on pump. What should it be? Not .200 I wouldnt think?

You're not forgetting the pressure plate are you?? Been a while since I have been into one, maybe I'm thinking wrong, but I have never seen an Intermediate with more than 3 clutches.

I like it but there aint one to be seen and the other oddity is that the little marks the steels made in the case originally. I come up to those like BANG SPOT on. So got me. Hoping someone chimes in. Neither of the books I got call for plate either

the intermediate clutch requires a pressure plate into the case first.

Depends on apply aluminum piston in the pump to use 2 frictions or 3 frictions with match steel plates ...

then the waved plate is on top of these plates before the pump is installed
