TH350 tailhousing bushing...
Hi all,
I'm about ready to stuff a driveline in and finish up the 350/350 install in my 36. The motor/tranny combo came out of a donor Monte Carlo. The yoke seems a little loose in the tail housing. Is that a pretty common problem with a used tranny? Is it worth pulling the housing and replacing the bushing and seal before I ever attempt to drive it? Is some slop acceptable?? Thanks, Cam

It's easier if it's out of the car, and if there's any doubt as to the condition of the bushing, I'd put a new one (& a seal) in it now.
