Hey Guys, hope ya'll can help on this. I have a 78 chevy c10, 305 w/the350 transmission. The problem with it is, the transmission is slamming in reverse. It doesn't matter if it is cold, or hot. I just recently changed the torque converter because of the cam. But it was slamming time to time before the torque converter change, and motor change. I have also changed the vacuum modulator. I have checked for vacuum problems, and all that is good. Fluid level is full. But i don't understand what is going on with it. Forward gears and fine. It shifts into them smooth, no problem. It's just reverse that is slamming when i drop it in gear. Any help would be appreciated greatly. I'm currently going to school, and is my only vehicle to drive. OH and unemployed so transmission failure is not good. Thanks
