th350 won't shift at all

Rebuilt my th350 a few years ago & finally installed it last week. Its on a supercharged motor & I understand the issues related to vacuum however it refuses to shift into any gear even manually & barely shifts into reverse (slips). I installed a b&m shift kit that gives me the manual auto option. Does this sound like a sticky valve issue? And which valve should I check specifically? Little worried that I did damage backing out with it slipping. Anyway really frustrated at this point.

is the shifter or gear selector moving on the tranny at all. if it feels like its slipping the jam nut might be loose or broken.

You added enough fluid? Didn't forget to install the filter? It happens...

It's a good idea to check the pressure at the test port before tearing it back down.

Yes the linkage down to the tranny is functioning correctly & fluid at proper level. Might try checking pressure but not quite sure how to do this although still think it's a sticky valve.
