TH400 Stock Stall

Does anyone know what the stock stall convertor is rated at in a th 400?

transmandan 04-04-2006 10:27 AM

stall speed

A stock THM 400 converter is about 1500-1600 around that

Crosley 04-04-2006 07:43 PM

the converters behind the high performance engines used a higher stall near 1800-2000 RPM.

. . . AND, so can everyone else who has the money to go to the local speed shop, or parts counter, or online speed shops.

This looks an awful lot like a solicitation for a possible monetary gain on your part, not exactly advertising, but not simply giving good advice either.

This is a borderline NO-NO on Hotrodders.com.

There is no offense taken, it is a violation of the forum rules setup by Jon (admin guy).

If you wish to offer parts or services to fellow members please use the PM system on this board.

No problem crosley just here to help have a good day

M&M CUSTOM 04-07-2006 06:18 AM

Since it was NOT an outright advertisement or subject meant more for the Classifieds forum here on the board, I left it here, BUT it IS borderline and I was asked to give a real close look at it, maybe edit it, and possibly send a PM. I seen little need to change or PM, when a comment would suffice.

NOW, if you would have contacted another member via PM and worked out a price and sold something there, we have absolutely NO rules against this.

transmandan 04-07-2006 06:31 AM

No problem M&M I will not do that again
