OK. I've accidentally posted this on the intoduction to hottrodding section, So I appologize for that. My name is Justin. I am a crew chief in the U.S.A.F. I'm a fairly proficient mechanic. Although not good with transmissions, yet! MY th700r4 in my 1987 Chevy c10, behind a 350sb is acting up. It will not shift out of 1st gear. Reverse is fine. It was already shifting hard into gear from neutral and park. I belive the hard acceleration i put on it the other night put it over the top. I have the transmission sitting in my garage and I was going to purchase a rebuild kit, but decided i should get some tech help first. I'm one of those fix it or break it more trying type of guys so any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecitated. It's automatic bye the way. But you probably already knew that.
