TH700r4 input shaft.

Hello, i have a 1991 2WD 1500 chevy pickup and the tranny went out of it. i found a tranny out of a '92 S-10 and did some research. the one from the '92 has a 27 spline input shaft and the one for my truck has 30. i was wondering how much trouble it would take to change the shafts around.

Not much. Pull pump and swap aluminum drums. You may need to swap parts in the drum if your old parts are bad. It is not advisable to press shaft out of drum and press other one in.
