Thanksgiving is coming

This one's really off topic

Must be getting close to Thanksgiving - I just finished checking my emails and getting up from the computer to go out to my shop and start painting. A flock of 20 -25 wild turkeys were watching me - talk about instant scatter back to the woods when they saw me !! I tried to get a picture but had the super wide lens on the camera.

Gobble-Gobble.

I would imagine that was a right nice sight to see.

They usually show up about this time of the year to help me with 'harvesting' the acorn crop from my dozen or so backyard oaks.

The snow geese are starting to migrate south around here. Nightfire had snow yesterday and -5. It was -8 when I got up this morning and is -2 right now. That is why we had Thanksgiving last weekend in Canada.

I hope you are saying those negative temp numbers are Celsius NOT Fahrenheit like we use South of the border.
If not, I'll stay here, thank you !!!!!

Give it 3 months and we'll be sitting at -40 celcius, just happens to be -40 faehrenheit as well.
Hope you have a heated garage homebrew so we can watch the progress on the beast...

Just finishing up wiring, insulation (R20 in the walls and R40 in the ceiling)and drywall this week. Have a small 220 V heater that I will try out. If that doesn't work I will get a natural gas unit in. I'm not letting another winter go by without heat in the garage!
