Cadillac, some Impalas with big block engines in early 70's.

I may be thinking of the t-375 trans in the Impalas....

Back in 1980 - 81 I bought a few police Impala cars of the early 70's vintage with 454 & t-400 / 375 trans. I pulled the power trains and sold off the remainder.

As to this subject I know for sure that Cadillac of the 70's had the long tailshaft as I have one..I have ordered a short tailshaft in order to change it over to what I need..It is a good idea to freshen the bands and clutches while you have it apart..and put in the valve body that you want..that will be my project when all the parts arrive here..
