I recently put a new radiator (Walker Z-Cool) in my truck with a 16" electric fan. I have a temperature sensor in the manifold that's suppose to turn the fan on at 190 degrees and off at 170 degrees.
It's turning the fan on at 190, as it should, but the fan doesn't turn off until 140 - 150 degrees. THAT seems too cold to me -- do you agree?
Do you think maybe I have a defective temp sensor? Or should I try putting a different one in with different settings? I've been thinking about putting an adjustable sensor in, too.
Any instructions/help appreciated!
