You didn't say what year so I'll guess you're around 8-8.5 to 1 compression. With the low compression and probably 76 cc smog heads the combination you are quoting just isn't going to work. Yes, it will run, but not very good.
My opinion....the double pumper is a no-no for the street, just a semi-controlled leak. The Torker ll or any single plane is not optimum for the street, they are high rpm intakes and with your heads and compression it would probably be all wheezed out at 5500. Again, with the stock engine that cam, though not radical is too much. With your stock engine and the right combination of parts that you want to change you may see 325 hp. @ the flywheel. |

they got a good point I would run a 600cfm holley vacuum secondary,cyclone/performer intake, and keep that cam,you could probably upgrade to vortecs and do really good you would be suprised how much better it will feel afterwards trust me

Performer RPM will be t!ts with that cam... but the others are right. How about casting numbers on those heads.

ya ok the heads are
333882 just stock 70 ccs

I think you mean 76cc's stock. I believe that is where they were from the factory they may be as low 72cc but that is about it. Make sure you check them for cracks. I just had a set that a guy took off a running driving motor and took them to get them checked and they had 3 cracks in one head and 2 in the other. Between the valves was the biggest problem. You owe it to yourself to get a better set of heads. Something with smaller combustion chambers and better flow.

Yeah 882's are going to clog things up. I doubt you will see anywhere near 400hp with those. What kind of budget are you working with? I'm sure we could give you some suggestions to meet your goal.

400 horses from a 350 is not too difficult with some right parts. Bogie |

get some 190cc aftermarket heads and a AirGap intake- that alone should put you close with your combo. put compression at about 9.5:1 and the cam duration at about 235/240 @.050"

Adding this part will definately get you 400+ ponies

Like oldbogie said, it's not hard. What's your 'budget'? What do you have now, specifically, all of it? |

No ****, I was being sarcastic. He could just bolt it on as is, it would make way more than 400 horse for at least 10-15 seconds. On 125 octane fuel.
