They towed my pride away

Started off having a great day, removed the muffler from the Fargo yesterday and it sounded so nice today, a nice low rumble, seemed to run a whole lot better too (wonder if that old muffler was way to restrictive?, or full of crap?). Drove it to school, and parked it on a side street close by. There were signs that construction was gonna be happening and that you shouldnt park but not on the little block I parked on, other cars were parked there too so I figured they woudlnt close off that block. Head back to my truck around 11 'o clock to go buy scrap steel with my buddies in our lunch time and the truck was gone...machines were cleaning out the street and the street was closed off. GREAT! I gotta try to get it back now, no-one could tell me anythign about it, but one worker told me to call Dr. Hook (towing company) and ask them. They told me they have an old blue truck that came in today so I gotta wait to get a ride there and hopefully pick it up. $70 plus it's raining and my wipers pooped out this morning on the way to school. Not a good day. Ah well, my fault...

Mike

Well I'm back and I got my truck $70 for towing, $35 for parking violation. They did some minor damage to it though got 2 dents that werent there before on the left fender, looks like they hit something going around a corner. Oh well, at least I got it back. Brakes are allright, I havent bled them this year yet but they're still fairly tight...if used responsibly. Old cars have their limitations but as long as you're aware of them and drive safely it's all good

dont make a big deal about it but you may be able to get them to pay for the dents if you have pics before then.

When I drove tow truck,I used to take digital photos of all dents and marks that I could find,a;ong with the background of where it was taken from, when doing police tows. I think, some people honestly think the dent wasnt there before, but really it was.

That sucks Mike. I wouldn't blow off those dents, Id take it straight to there face. They should at least pay for the damage they did.

Im suprised you took this so well. If it had been my truck, I would of already been in jail
