Not a bad deal, you could look in a high performance catalog and add the prices up.
He wants $698.99, and $39 of that is shipping.
A catalog I have here lists:
$399.88 GM 8.5" 30 spline Eaton diff.
$107.39 Ratech installation kit as the diff description calls for.
$169.88 3.73 ratio richmond gears.
$588.27 so far. . .
Plus the bearings, and if they add up to $71.72, you are just even on the cost.

You will still need the gear lube and additive, and I would recommend since you have the axle apart just buy a new pair of axleshaft bearings and seals too.

Did you click on the link of their other sales. http://stores.ebay.com/RearEndParts Sounds like a good price and it's not a 1 time deal company (99.6% feedback score). Let us know if you order it and how it goes!
