The purple HF HVLP 43430 gun does a good job IF you have a big enough compressor to run 40+ psi with 10 to 12 cfm at the gun and you don't mind the entire area being the same color you are painting. About everything in my garage has a nice SPI epoxy gray cast to it now

Consider an Astro if you need/want a low price HVLP gun. While I haven't used one, most users say they work nicely for less then an evening out with your significant other
