Thirsty auto transmission 88 gmc

I have a 1988 gmc sierra 4x4 that is using alot of automatic transmission fluid with no puddles showing under the vehicle. I have no idea where the fluid could be going without any leaks showing underneath. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check the fluid level of your t-case. I bet it is over full.

Seals between the transmission and t-case get hard. The trans fluid passes into the t-case

If your transmission has a modulator, check it. A bad modulator could allow the vacuum to suck transmission fluid to your motor where it is burnt with the fuel.
