those with a camaro/nova clip...

i am about to start the process of putting a 77 nova clip on my 59 chevy apache 3800.

i wanted to know what size tires/wheels everybody is running, and what is the largest wheel/tire combo you can run without rubbing. i want to get 16 inch wheels, but don't know how wide i can go, or how tall of a tire i can go with. i want to figure out ride height before i get started.

well actually it came with 17.5" 8-lug wheels. it is currently sitting on some 16x7s on the stock straight axle up front. i am subframing with a nova sub (5x4.75"), and want to know about what combos people are running before i buy new wheels/tires. i have a set of 14's that are of the nova parts car now for it to roll on, but i wanted to know what size i can fit so i knw my final ride height when i weld the frames together.

Use the 2 14s to set it all up, then measure haow much room you have to play with when done. I'm guessing the 14s are both the same size? As far as how big, do you mean how wide or how tall? Once you got it where you like it you can turn fully from lock to lock and fill up the space available. Make sense?

yes, it is a set of 4 matching wheels/tires. they are definately too small, but i guess i can use them to roll on and check clearances

i wanted to know how wide and how tall. i guess i can always measure it afterwards.
